The collection consists of one volume of handwritten entries of deaths in Hudson, Ohio. Emory Lewis kept records of deaths from 1823-1888 (pages 1-122) and Grace Ellsworth Forbush continued the entries until her death in 1959. The entries are kept in order of death date. Each entry lists the decendent's name and death date. Other information also may include: age at death, place of death, cause of death, and family names. A transcription of the data is available at the Hudson Library & Historical Society. Source of information of E.E. Lewis's information is unknown.
