Scope and Content
Original copies of instruments (deeds, will, contracts, and other agreements) belonging to the Bishop family. Includes a typewritten transcript and a blown up xerox copy of several documents. Many of the instruments relate to the Gaylord Bishop Farm (Lot #36), which comprised 150 acres, now Old Colony, Keswick, Stoney Hill, Sunset and many Drives, plus the house researched as Towne-Bishop House (known as Rose Lawn).
