History of The Hudson Jolly Club
The Hudson Jolly Club was likely a men's social club started in 1887. A piece of paper found in the minute book describes the club as "organized by 'the boys' just for fun." Referred to as the H.J.C., the organization hosted an annual banquet to celebrate the end of the year. Listed within the journal are 12 members, including: John F. Berry, Vel W. Berry, Will F. Cash, Harry D. Chapman, Victor C. Fenn, Clarence W. Fitch, Lorenzo W. Ford, Frank M. Hall, Oakley E. Hull, Burt B. Sanford and Fred G. Waite.
