The Questers is an international organization dedicated to the study, conservation, and preservation of antiques, with chapters found in the United States and Canada. The organization was founded in 1944 by Jessie Elizabeth Bardens of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. To form a chapter, eight (but no more than sixteen) people with an interest in antiques may apply to the national organization for a charter. There are three chapters of the Questers in Hudson, Ohio: David Hudson #428, James W. Ellsworth #634, and Anna Lee #968. They were respectively formed in 1970, 1973, and 1980. The chapters often wrote reports about various artifacts and worked to preserve Hudson antiques and historical sites through restoration projects. According to the Ohio Questers website, local chapters come together to form their State/Provincial Quester groups and all are part of the International Quester organization.
