History of the Hudson Garage Company
Account book for the Hudson Garage Company, owned by Thomas E. Bissell (1892-1954), which operated from 1913 to 1942 on 24 Clinton Street in Hudson, Ohio
Thomas E. Bissell (1892-1954) opened his first automobile repair and sales shop on 24 Clinton Street in 1913. He sold a variety of automobiles, including Saxons, Buicks and Fords. Bissell soon sold Ford automobiles exclusively. He remained on Clinton Street until 1942, when he moved to a new building on Main Street.
