Biography of John B. Whedon
John B. Whedon (1807-1861) began his service as Hudson, Ohio, postmaster in December 4, 1833. He was removed in August 1841 and reappointed in May 1845. Whedon, a merchant, was an early settler of Hudson, and operated a drugstore on Main Street. His home and his store often served as the post office locations.
