Minnie MacDowell's collection consists of ironworker material and material on her work with the Hudson cemetery project.

The ironworkers material consists primarily of collected research material on Angelo Lavelli and Samuel Yellin. Materials include items collected as part of Minnie L. presentation and paper by Minnie L. MacDowell. Items include her written presentation, "Artisans in Ironwork: Samuel Yellin and Angelo Lavelli," and slides which accompanied the program. The slides include photographs of Lavelli's work in various homes and buildings in Hudson and beyond (including Stan Hywet Hall in Akron, Ohio). An index of the slides is included in the written presentation.

Other items in the collection include photocopies of newspaper clippings about the Lavelli family (including Dante) and a negative photograph of Lavelli's work.
