Scope and Contents
The reports and proposals series consists of various contracts, inspectors' daily reports, and other miscellaneous reports.
The contracts consist of agreements between the Board of Public Affairs and General Electric and other companies and contractors. Various improvement contracts have been saved, including a contract and bond for the construction of the water softening plant in 1931 as well as various street improvement projects.
Inspectors' daily reports are included which detail inspectors Harold Kuckenbecker's and George Jenkin's daily reports of inspections of various subdivisions in Hudson including, West Haven colony, Western Reserve Academy, and Lake Forest.
Other reports include a proposal for the construction of a sanitary sewage treatment plant, inspection of fire hydrants, various bacteriological reports, an appraisal of a lot in Hudson, and a waste water survey report.
