Scope and Contents
The financial records include various invoices, receipts of transactions between the Board of Public Affairs and various companies, an account book, and various budgets of the Board of Public Affairs.
The account book details homeowners' accounts for water and lighting from 1926 to 1930. The account book also contains a section of building permits, with applicant name, property (street address), type of permit (with information about the change to the structure), and cost.
Budgets for the entire village of Hudson (1964-1966), which includes information about the water department as well as other village services, can be found in this series. A report on the village of Hudson conducted by the Bureau of Municipal Research (Akron, Ohio) in 1922, details various financial information about Hudson village with recommendations for areas of improvement.
