Of particular interest are the extensive diaries kept by Cordelia, George and Harriet Starr describing community and church life and day-to-day activities. Transcripts of the diaries are included in the collection.

This collections contains the records for the Eight and Forty La Salon D'Ohio, no. 23 (Hudson, Ohio) during the years of 1983-2011. The bulk of this collection contains correspondence from 1987-1988 when Martha Marsh was Le Chapeau of the Eight and Forty. The membership rosters, newsletters and some minutes are also contained within this collection. There are also a number of Eight and Forty handbooks and other financial records of the Hudson division of this organization.
